The motoscope tiny with ABE is a very small analog speedometer in 49mm format. It measures the speed digitally and displays it precisely via a stepper motor and pointer. Due to the installation diameter of 49 mm and the installation depth of only 24 mm, a wide range of installation options is available. Sophisticated technology makes the classic look possible without compromise. The dial has no display cut-out or LCD and looks convincing in classic style. The perfect solution for purists and minimalists. The case:The high-quality aluminium case is turned from solid material and its surface is black anodized. The screw ring is also available black anodized or high gloss polished. The case is 100% waterproof and insensitive to vibrations. Dial and display:The analogue dial in black-and-white contrast is indirectly illuminated by white LEDs. An innovative LED display is hidden behind the black part of the dial, which only lights up during operation and is not visible when switched off! In order to achieve optimum readability in darkness, sun and twilight, the luminosity of the LEDs is automatically adjusted. If the speed exceeds 200 km/h on the analogue scale, the speed is automatically shown on the LED display. The maximum speed is also stored. The 4 indicator lights (blue, red, 2 x green) are also integrated in the dial. These also only become visible during operation.Operation:With the supplied menu button or e.g. the headlight flasher button on the handlebar, you can switch between the displays of the LED display. The default display is the time. If required, the values for total kilometres, trip kilometres, on-board voltage, etc. can be displayed by briefly pressing a button. All functions, such as resetting trip kilometres, etc., are easy to operate via the push-button. The motoscope tiny is easy to install thanks to the two M3 threaded bushes on the rear of the unit. The motoscope tiny is easy to install and can be used in a wide variety of applications. We offer various mounting brackets for the mounting.Connection and sensors:The detailed mounting and operating instructions (see Downloads) make the connection of the instrument also possible for users who have previously kept away from the vehicle electrics. The included speedometer sensor made of stainless steel is very small (M5/23 mm) and easy to hide. With the 1.5 m long connection cable, it can be easily attached to the front or rear wheel. Thus also vehicles with original mechanical speedo drive can be easily converted. The motoscope tiny is compatible with many original speedo sensors (reed contact and proximity sensors) of the vehicle manufacturers. In this case, only connections are connected and the mechanical installation of a sensor becomes completely superfluous. An intelligent 'Teach function' enables easy calibration of the speedometer - even on vehicles with sensors on the transmission, e.g. Harley-Davidson (TM).Technical data and functionsInstallation diameter: 49 mmWeight: approx. 96 gFastening: 2 x M3 threaded bushingCurrent consumption in operation: approx. 200 mA (load dependent)Operating voltage: 9 V - 15 VOperating temperature: -20° +80°CTachometer analog (pointer) = 0 200 km/h or mphTachometer numeric (LED display) = 200 999 km/h or mphmaximum speed = 0 999 km/h or mphOn-board voltage = 9 15 VTime = 00:00 23:59Daily odometer = 0 999.9 km or miTotal mileage (adjustable) = up to 99 999 km or miControl lamps = turn signal, high beam, neutral, warning lampScope supplied:Instrument with approx. 75 cm connection cableminipush button2 flying fuses9 cable end connectorstacho sensor (M5 x 0.5 fine thread, stainless steel, IP 68) with 150 cm connection cable2 strong Neodymo.mini-magnets2 fixing screws M3 with washer2 diodes for the combination of indicatorsdetailed mounting and operating instructions.
